The Infanta Leonor Hospital is a 235 bed, 85,066 sqm hospital in the Villa de Vallecas district of Madrid. As part of the Madrid Regional Government’s 2004-2007 Public Health Infrastructure Plan, the investment involves the construction, maintenance and operation of non-medical infrastructure. It is structured around an availability-based concession contract, with DIF owning 100% of the equity in the project. The concession began operating in November 2007, lasts until 2035, and is currently running at virtually full capacity.
