The DIF Private Debt Fund targets non-investment grade, senior-ranking acquisition financing loans, which are often used to finance private equity led M&A transactions. The Fund will lend across a wide range of sectors predominantly in the Benelux and certain other Western European countries.
The Fund will focus on direct lending via predominantly stretched senior and unitranche loans in the lower mid-market, where competition from both banks and private lenders is considered to be significantly lower.
